Motorcycle safety is for everyone on the road.
Riding a motorcycle is thrilling, but there can be potential dangers that go along with it.
In 2017 in North Dakota:
- Over 80% of all reported crashes resulted in injury or death.
- 260 motorcycle crashes occurred, 201 were injury related and 13 of these crashes were fatal.
- A motorcycle crash occured every 1.4 days.
- 77% of motorcycle fatalities were not wearing a helmet.
Motorcycle safety is for everyone on the road. It is important for motorists and motorcyclists to do their part so there are zero fatalities and serious injuries on North Dakota roads.
